Brook Hall / American Accent Coach / Camera Acting

Brook Hall is producer, director and Choreographer. He works as American Accent Coach in our film course programme.

He has directed, produced and choreographed for many TV commercials and music videos and worked on the Hollywood features SILENCE (casting for Martin Scorsese and stand-in for Adam Driver), LIFE OF PI (Dir. Ang Lee), and LUCY (Dir. Luc Besson). He was also First A.D. for the Hollywood independent feature STAND and was Second-Unit Director for the Asian feature THE SEARCH FOR PANGU. As an actor, he has appeared in over 80 commercials, numerous music videos, and many events, shows, concerts, and more.

He has worked as a guest teaching artist around the world including: Beijing, Shanghai, KaohSiung, Taipei, ShenYang, Macau, Riga, Sevilla, and Pondicherri.
He currently coaches actors and leads screen acting classes with OnCamera_vienna.

For stage, he spent five years at Vienna’s English Theatre Academy. There, he directed  a lot of plays such as NOISES OFF, THE FOREIGNER, MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS, THE RAINMAKER, and ANIMAL FARM. Other stage directing and producing credits include the world Chinese-Language premiere of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, ANYTHING GOES (for the National Theatre of Taiwan).
