Alan Burgon / On Camera & British Accent Coach

Alan Burgon ist Schauspieler, Autor,  Regisseur Sprecher und Produzent. An der filmschool vienna coacht er für die Arbeit vor der Kamera und coacht British Accent (Standard, London/Estuary, Cockney).

Alan schloss sein Studium am Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) im Jahr 2008 mit einem Bachelor of Arts in Schauspiel ab. Anschließend verbrachte er ein Jahr im Ensemble des Dundee Rep, wo er die Möglichkeit hatte, sowohl Hauptrollen als auch Ensembleparts zu spielen, wie z. B.: ‚Nick‘ in „Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf“, ‚Beast‘ in „Beauty and the Beast“, Ensemble in „Peer Gynt“, national UK tour in Zusammenarbeit mit dem National Theatre of Scotland.
Alan zog 2010 nach Wien und ist ehemaliger künstlerischer Leiter und Mitbegründer von Open House Theatre, einer englischsprachigen Theatercompany mit Sitz in Wien. Er arbeitet als freier Schauspieler und Autor in der Indie-Filmszene, trat im deutschen Fernsehen auf (Tatort Mainz, Das Netz) und spielte in internationalen Kinofilmen wie „Thank You For Bombing“ und „Me We“ mit. In der Welt der Podcasts spielt Alan die Stimme von ‚The Interviewer‘ in „The Amelia Project“, ‚Lockie‘ in „The Secret of St. Kilda“ und ‚Dr. Van Helsing‘ in „Re:Dracula“.

Alan graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) in 2008, with a Bachelor of Arts in acting. He went on to spend one year with the Dundee Rep ensemble, where he was given the opportunity to play both leading roles and ensemble parts such as: ‘Nick’ in “Who’s Afraid Of Virginia Woolf”, ‘Beast’ in “Beauty and the Beast”, Ensemble “Peer Gynt” national UK tour in cooperation with the National Theatre of Scotland.
Alan moved to Vienna in 2010, and is the former Artistic Director and co-founder of Open House Theatre, an English language theatre company based in Vienna, Austria. He works as an actor and writer for independent films and series, has appeared on German national television (Tatort Mainz, Das Netz), and has acted in international cinema films such as  “Thank You For Bombing” and “Me We2. In the world of podcasts, Alan plays the voice of  ‘The Interviewer’ in “The Amelia Project”, ‘Lockie’ in “The Secret of St. Kilda”, and ‘Dr. Van Helsing’ in “Re:Dracula”.
